Who is Laura Dwyer?

Laura Dwyer is a Flutist and highly sought-after Yoga, Movement and Meditation Teacher. She is currently a member of the Santa Fe Symphony, the Colorado Music Festival, the IRIS Collective and previously served as Principal Flute of the Sarasota Opera for many years. She has performed as a guest with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Florida Orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony and many other orchestras across the country. Laura has a passion for opera and has performed extensively with Opera Theatre of St Louis, the Palm Beach Opera, and the Santa Fe Opera. She has taught meditation and movement at The Curtis Institute of Music, the Julliard School, the National Flute Association, and has taught masterclasses partnering with master teachers Keith Underwood and Trevor Wye. Laura has taught movement and meditation for over twenty years at the University of Michigan Anatomy of Sound workshop with renowned Flutist and Professor, Amy Porter. Laura’s mission is to help musicians find ease in their minds and bodies with the end goal of achieving joyful peak performance.
